I'm in Foz do Iguaçu! It's a little chilly here with the humidity (and it being like February for them). Sao Paulo and the surrounding countryside are very orange. And green. Folks like green here. I wore brown to be nondescript, but I should have worn green.
I've tried to say some portuguese words. One guy responded in english. Another said "Oh, habla español?" Hm.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to go to a Portuguese ward nearby, and then the scientific conference starts in the evening. Now I'm just chillin' in my fleece.
