Best Night

Yesterday evening, Clerie had her best night so far this training.
The 1st Sgt. and others called everybody out to formation in their PT's, and told them of their frustration that the group wasn't getting along and working together (as people hadn't been getting along so well; a problem that the leadership had already tried to address). So, they said, they were going to make everybody do an activity where everyone would be working together.
At this point, Clerie - and, I'm sure, others - were groaning inside at what was in store.
But the Sgt. told them that, once they were excused, to do an about face, and to enjoy drinks and soda that had been set out for everyone. So everyone hung out for a bit, and people started playing games; Clerie and several others played soccer.
Clerie and I chatted over the web cam again this evening. Jonathan showed off his toys for Mommy. It was lots of fun for Clerie to see Jonathan like that.
